Saturday May 18th 11am Central-Fossils of the Hoosier National Forest @ the Rickenbaugh House Do you love fossils? Join Forest service staff for an hour long presentation about the organisms and mammals that once populated the area. We will learn about the different geologic time periods and have some examples of fossils to look at. Fun for all ages! No registration. Directions: Located 3 miles south of Interstate 64 off State Highway 37. Turn at the large entrance sign for Indian- Celina Lakes Rec Area. A gatehouse sits just off State Road 37 at the entrance. Past the Gatehouse take the first left and continue past the campgrounds to the end of the road which dead ends at the boat launch and parking area for Rickenbaugh House. GPS Coordinates: Lat - 38 degrees 11' 56.664"N, Long - 86 degrees 35' 53.951"W. $8 gate fee/ vehicle.
