Beginning at 1:00 p.m. and running till 4:00 p.m., the museum welcomes you to try your hand at shucking, shelling, and grinding corn the old fashion way. The Verkamps from Schnellville will discuss molasses making and offer some tasting. Antique corn and grain harvesting equipment will be explained. Old time crafts and games will be available. Try some homemade ice cream and apple cider while music plays on the log house porch. They will also have a discussion on furs and hides, honey extracting will be explained and tasting will be available. The Schnell family will offer a petting zoo for the young to enjoy.
