Enjoy America’s Past Time with this Collegiate “Wooden Bat” League Baseball
The Bombers play high-quality contemporary baseball in a throwback setting. Their home field, “Huntingburg League Stadium,” was the field for the Rockford Peaches in the hit motion picture “A League of Their Own,” starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and Madonna. Playing homage to the movie, The Bombers play in vintage-inspired uniforms – pants are knickered, stirrups are worn. The crack of a wood bat against a baseball resounds through the stadium. We even have our own Peaches (in the uniforms depicted in the movie) at the games keeping everything in the stadium rolling, while our coaches and players keep it exciting on the field.
